Today’s target was a relaxing 180 mile drive to Newburgh, our last stop before The Big Apple
To those of you that think New York State is all about Manhattan and NYC, you are sooooooo wrong. The beauty of yesterday’s “finger lake” counties was matched by the drive through the Catskills today. It was a shame we didn’t have more time to explore and take photos – I didn’t take any 🙁 You could easily spend an extra 24-48 hours exploring this area
We have arrived in our fabulous hotel suite in Newburgh, only 45 miles from Newark. Whilst Newburgh is on the same river as NYC as you can see from the photos, it’s a completely different pace of life
Early night planned as it’s back to the hectic tourist tomorrow and a late night Empire State trip!
